Brandon Eang
Club Director + Training Director
Brandon Eang has been the head coach of both the girls' and boys' volleyball teams at Westford Academy since 2001. In 2017, he was honored as the Lowell Sun Coach of the Year. Additionally, he serves as the head coach for the volleyball division and is a board member of the USA Cambodia Sports Association. Brandon played a key role in recruiting players to help field the Cambodian Women's National Volleyball Team in both indoor and beach volleyball during the SEA Games 2023.
Alongside his coaching at Westford Academy, Brandon has coached for Ignite VBC and Bamboo VBC, bringing extensive knowledge and experience to his coaching sessions. He is responsible for strategically developing the skills segment of our programs and serves as the head coach for most practices during the season. As a local resident, he is enthusiastic about increasing volleyball opportunities in the area and watching the sport continue to grow.
Bill Bowen
17U coach
Currently coaching field events for high school track and field (11 yrs) as well as volleyball from 1993 - 2001, Bill returned to coaching volleyball in 2021. He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast who loves the challenge of competition in any sport. He brings an analytical mind and a critical eye to the court. Bill is always looking to help his athletes get to the next level by encouraging them to try different techniques or methods. His philosophy is “no matter how good a player is, they can always get better”.
Conor Adams
16U black coach
Conor began playing volleyball in high school and then continued on to play at a DIII college as a DS. After that, he took a coaching job with Salem, NH high school where he coached the junior varsity boys and girls program for several years. He then began working for several local clubs coaching girls regional U15 and U18. Conor’s philosophy when it comes to coaching is to have fun and work hard.
Mia Rose
15U red coach
Mia Rose joins Ignite Volleyball Club with six years of experience playing on both club and school teams. As a former varsity captain in her senior year, she has a strong foundation in volleyball and a deep understanding of the importance of leadership and teamwork both on and off the court. Now transitioning into coaching, Mia is excited to guide athletes toward a successful season while nurturing their love for the game. Outside of volleyball, she works full-time as a nail technician. Mia looks forward to a winning season with Ignite Volleyball Club and is dedicated to helping players reach their full potential.
Jesse So
15U black coach
Jesse has been involved in volleyball for 8 years. For 4 of those years, she played on her high school team, and for the past 4 years, she has been a member of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Women's club team. She is excited to join the Ignite team and looks forward to marking a first in her volleyball career as a coach this season!
Betty Nguyen
14U coach
Betty is an avid volleyball enthusiast. She started playing volleyball the summer of her senior year in high school. Despite being a newbie to the sport, managed to play freshman, varsity and club volleyball for MIT. Betty has coached club and high school volleyball. She wants to share her love of the game and promote a friendly and fun atmosphere for learning and improving volleyball skill sets. Betty’s hobbies include cooking, volleyball, pickleball, traveling and cosplay.
Maddie McLaren
13U coach
Maddie brings 9 years of volleyball experience to Ignite. She has played one year of beach volleyball, participated in 4 years of high school varsity and club volleyball, and spent 4 years on the University of Massachusetts Lowell Women’s club team. Maddie is very excited to join Ignite and begin a new chapter in her volleyball journey with coaching!
